The cross-border intragroup merger between Nexent Bank (Romania) S.A. and its Dutch parent company Nexent Bank N.V. has been successfully completed. Effective January 1, 2025, Nexent Bank operates in Romania as a branch office of the Dutch bank, under the name Nexent Bank N.V. Amsterdam Bucharest Branch.
This step is an important milestone in realizing Nexent Bank's strategy to enhance its operations by benefiting from shared expertise and common resources within the Group. The transition underlines the bank's commitment to sustainable growth in Romania while enhancing its ability to deliver reliable, customer-focused products and user-friendly financial services.
