For our Branch in Bucharest, we are looking for a skilled:

Process Improvement Specialist/ Process Architect (BPM)

The ideal candidate is a senior BPM professional with hands-on experience establishing enterprise process management frameworks in a banking or regulated financial services environment. They have implemented BPM repositories, defined process taxonomies, and governed modelling standards, and are comfortable working with senior stakeholders to embed process ownership and discipline across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

BPM Framework & Architecture

  • Design and implement the bank’s end-to-end BPM framework, including:
    • Process hierarchy (L0–L4/L5)
    • Core, support, and management process categorization
    • End-to-end vs functional process definitions
  • Define and embed a process ownership and governance model (process owners, custodians, reviewers).

Process Inventory & Taxonomy

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of the enterprise process inventory.
  • Define a scalable process taxonomy aligned with banking operations and regulatory expectations.
  • Ensure consistency of process naming, scope, and decomposition.

BPM Tool Implementation (BIC)

  • Configure, populate, and govern the BPM repository.
  • Define modeling conventions, metadata standards, and repository structures.
  • Act as functional lead for BPM tool configuration and vendor coordination.

Process Modeling Standards

  • Define and enforce BPMN 2.0 modeling standards and quality criteria.
  • Review and assure quality of process models created by business units.
  • Develop templates, guidelines, and training materials.

Governance, Risk & Compliance Alignment

  • Ensure process documentation supports:
    • Operational risk management
    • Internal controls
    • Policies and procedures
    • Audit and regulatory reviews
  • Collaborate closely with Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit.

Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement

  • Engage senior business stakeholders to define process scope and ownership.
  • Facilitate workshops to extract and structure process knowledge.
  • Coach and enable business teams in BPM practices.

Required Experience

  • 7–12 years total professional experience
  • 5+ years in BPM / process architecture / enterprise process management
  • 3–5+ years in banking or regulated financial services
  • Proven experience building a BPM framework from scratch or near-zero
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise BPM tools (BIC, HOPEX, ARIS, Signavio, others)
  • Strong practical experience with BPMN 2.0
