Credit Europe Bank continues to develop its digital solutions and launches Virtual Card for extra payment security and control

Credit Europe Bank Romania announces the launch of Virtual Card for CardAvantaj, Optimo Card and CEB Diamond customers. It is available in Avantaj application. Any holder of a physical credit card issued by Credit Europe Bank can generate a virtual card free of charge and instantly, which they can use at any time for any online or POS payment.

Virtual cards are an optimal choice for those who want an even higher level of security when making payments and do not want to provide the physical card information with third parties and merchants. The data of the virtual card is accessible for the user in the Avantaj application.

Customers also have full control over their allocated virtual card limit. They can set and change the limit of their virtual card anytime and as many times as they want in AVANTAJ2Go application. The limit of the virtual card can be set between 0%-100% of their physical card’s limit.  Thus, virtual cardholders have more control over their card, along with the advantages of payment security.

The virtual card can be used for online shopping anywhere and anytime, but also can be used in physical stores when enrolled in Apple Pay or Google Pay.
