All Credit Europe Bank Romania credit card holders will be able to pay their installments at around 20.000 PayPoint payment location

Starting May, all Credit Europe Bank credit card holders will benefit from a new, simple and fast way to pay their monthly installments, thanks to the partnership between PayPoint Romania and Credit Europe Bank. Therefore, holders of the credit cards issued by the bank will be able to make commission-free payments at the approximately 20,000 PayPoint terminals throughout the country, with the payment recorded in the customer’s account on the same day (if the payment was completed on a working day, before 22:00).

CardAvantaj, CEB Diamond and Optimo Card card holders can now pay the installments at any PayPoint point of payment based on their credit card statement, either printed or in its electronic form. To successfully complete the operation, the merchant will scan the barcode using the PayPoint terminal, to identify the account number.

Users can pay the amount in cash, and a voucher that confirms the payment will be issued for each transaction. The maximum amount that can be paid in a single transaction is 5,000 lei. Users who wish to repay an amount exceeding this limit can make additional transactions.

PayPoint, the leading operator in cash payments and electronic charging through retail outlets in Romania, is thus diversifying its product portfolio offered to merchants in its network, and clients will enjoy more payment options at any Paypoint location in the country.

The Credit Europe Bank portfolio includes credit cards and installment-shopping cards for local and international payments. The Credit Europe Bank Romania offer includes CardAvantaj, Optimo Card and CEB Diamond.
