Credit Europe Bank launches the Avantaj contactless Sticker and Bracelet

Credit Europe Bank Romania launches the Avantaj contactless Sticker and Bracelet, two modern gadgets attached to the CardAvantaj Mastercard credit cards used exclusively in contactless payments at merchants.

Through the Avantaj Sticker and Bracelet, the clients can perform transactions both in the country and abroad at any contactless terminal, using the available funds in the CardAvantaj Mastercard account. Both gadgets function as a contactless supplementary credit card which offers the customer the possibility of fast, simple and safe payments since they are also based on chip and contactless technology as regular plastics. Introducing these new technologies comes to support customers who want to make cash-free payments by eliminating the need to have their wallets in possession all the time and provides also the requested mobility and simplicity by integrating them in their day to day modern life. The sticker can be placed on any flat surface like smartphones which are a ”need to have” nowadays and the bracelet is an accessory which will fit in seamlessly into an active life style. In addition to the mobility and style, both products will reduce the waiting time on cashier lines at merchants like supermarkets, gas stations or other small ticket locations by replacing cash.

“The numbers show us that approximately 50% of the CardAvantaj Mastercard credit card payments in 2018 were contactless. The Avantaj Sticker and Bracelet launch is part of our strategy to develop services and banking products that are easier and more accesible for our clients in order to be able to offer the best banking experiences with Credit Europe Bank”, declared Yakup Çil, CEO Credit Europe Bank Romania.

Being used exclusively for contactless payments, through the sticker and bracelets no installment payments can be made; thus, any transaction performed with the Avantaj Sticker or the Bracelet will be fully included in the next statement of the customer’s CardAvantaj Mastercard credit card. Although the gadgets don’t offer the possibility of performing transactions in installments, the bank may offer this benefit within promotional campaigns for a limited period of time. Such a campaign is available at this time, as a special offer for the launch of the products.

The Bracelet is available in black, whereas the Sticker is available in two colors: black and grey. Both gadgets benefit of special launching campaigns, for new CardAvantaj Mastercard clients as well as for the existing ones.
