Nexent Bank launches WIZZ Card Avantaj, a new credit card designed for travel and everyday spending in partnership with Wizz Air and Mastercard

Nexent Bank N.V. Amsterdam Bucharest Branch announces the launch of WIZZ Card Avantaj, a co-branded credit card developed together with Wizz Air and issued under the Mastercard network. The new card expands the bank’s portfolio with a solution that combines financial flexibility with travel-related value, reflecting Nexent Bank’s broader strategy centred on digitalisation and the development of simple, relevant financial products aligned with customers’ lifestyles.

WIZZ Card Avantaj combines daily usability with rewards tailored to frequent flyers, creating a proposition that goes beyond traditional credit card functionality. Cardholders benefit from 1% cashback on all transactions, with an increased rate to 2% for Wizz Air purchases, turning spending into tangible value. The card also offers added flexibility through installment options, including up to three interest-free installments for Wizz Air purchases and up to 24 installments at aproximately 9,500 partner stores, reflecting the flexibility of the Card Avantaj ecosystem.

The card enhances how people plan and experience their journeys by offering access to over 1,800 airport lounges worldwide, alongside free WIZZ Discount Club membership, which includes reduced fares for tickets and luggage and exclusive offers for both the cardholder and a companion. These are complemented by a comprehensive trip insurance package covering key situations such as medical assistance, flight delays and lost luggage. The cardholders will also enjoy zero handling costs in the first year.
